KGLP, 91.7 on your radio dial, is, should, and can be YOUR public radio station. KGLP is a non-profit and member-supported organization. Our primary income is generated from your membership dollars. Major grants from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and others are leveraged by your pledge.

What’s new:
As a result of feedback from KGLP members over the last six months, we are adding an hour of Sunday Baroque beginning this Sunday, May 12, 2013. The program will air from 6am until 9am, MDT. Pipe Dreams will then air Sunday nights from 9 until 11, followed by the last hour of Sunday Baroque, where it has been airing.

KGLP member appreciation concert with Jed Marum (El Rancho 4/23/13 @ 7pm) was a great success.

KGLP’s weekly program schedule is available to download here in PDF format. Roadhouse Revue, a freeform-based 2-hour program that folds in various genres ranging from Blues, Folk, Gospel, Country, Bluegrass, and more, hosted by Dan Berg, now airs Thursday evenings 7-9 pm. KGLP Board election results and officers are reflected on our web site Board page.

170 Million Americans for Public Broadcasting is a collaboration of public radio and television stations, national organizations, producers and our viewers and listeners throughout the country in favor of a strong public media in the United States. This project receives no government funding and participating stations use no public funding.
KGLP got a News Award from the New Mexico Broadcasters Association (NMBA) on June 8, 2012 (Gallup Public Radio was "Broadcaster of the Year" for 2011). The award was for a documentary on a meeting of the Pueblos of Laguna and Acoma with BNSF on a train ride looping between Grants and Gallup in the summer of 2011. Listen here.
